Predictable and cliched, you can tell the major plotlines basically from the get-go. As for the characters, I can't put a finger on what, specifically, makes me feel that way, but all of them feel like shallow caricatures. The show also rushes off to introduce a whole bunch of characters too quickly and fails to give the viewers any reason to feel any sort of emotional attachment to them, so they end up being pointless background noise. I, personally, also find the lead actor to have zero charisma. He's....as bland like white bread. Obviously, that's just my taste and all, but I do not think he's the right choice for this show at all.

[Netflix] It has one of the dullest characters in current series production, a flat, boring Michael Heller who makes us sympathize more with the prosecutors. And, being the adaptation of Michael Connelly's second novel of the series, it deprives us of the opportunity to see the crossover with detective Larry Bosch. The show maintains interest effortlessly but also without brilliance, and its ten hours end up being less interesting than the two hours of the 2011 film.

I'm watching this because of what I call the "hype machine." I'm watching this because I've seen every episode of "Boston Legal" and was wholly underwhelmed by "Big Little Lies," "Nine Perfect Strangers," and "Mr. Mercedes." I'm not going to lay "The Crazy Ones" at his feet, RIP More
