Watched the first 2 episodes, can't wait for the rest.

Episode 1 is kinda slowish, but it's getting us familiar with the people.
Episode 2 is much better and has some action.. now it's starting to really get interesting.
8/10

A couple of What the... moments.
Dad and kid are driving down the road. Both are sitting on their seatbelts. Dad swerves as he's looking at the government agents behind him - they're both wearing their seatbelts!
The kid jumps into the back of the van and puts on his seatbelt, but when mum hits the brakes to look at the cops - he's in the front seat!
The big shootout. They've killed the guys - why wouldn't you take their truck. Why in the world would you walk in the desert?!!!!
Yes... the truck thing really annoyed me. It's like when the guy rans out of bullets in an action movie and doesn't pick one of the dozen guns lying around...

@tgvlx @speeddemon Most newer vehicles have built-in cellular and/or satellite connections (not necessarily for you to talk to friends through, but for "features" from the manufacturer like remote diagnostics and help buttons, think OnStar)
that would be a really good and easy tracking beacon in this situation, given that the NSA is involved. Plus, who knows what else those "militia" guys had in their souped-up "security" truck. So I expected that both Allie and Chuy would be very skeptical of using a newer vehicle
. I thought it was actually a really good detail on the writer's and director's part.

Man, f**k this show. The whole season and no reveal about why they're running and what they did. This show is not even close to being interesting enough to pull that off. It's just 7 episodes of a family running and hiding from various people. That's it...

pretty good, but the show uses literally every chance it gets, using almost every actor, to talk shit about america. i'm not even american and i find it cringe. i want to watch an adventure, not a hit-piece.

The so-called pro hacker joins an IRC chat on an MS DOS CMD prompt with his phone . Quite lame. Didn't they get any consulting on the matter? They should have had a look at Mr. Robot. They're shell gibberish that came along quite often seemed plausible, at least to some extent.

Three episodes in & no revels or any questions answered. Just more questions. This is some stupid way of story telling. Trying to decide if I should invest anymore time.

To make this show so much better you just need better dialogues. Yes, its slow. Yes, sometimes doesn't make sense, and IT part is awful as usual. But the action is there, intrigue of what happened is there. Justfix the dialogues ffs, I am so compelled to read the book to check if they talk as stupid there as in the movie.

I quite enjoyed the first season. I’m struggling to get through the second season but I’m sticking it out to see how the finale goes down.

It's OK, but a bit slow. I tuned into this because I remember when Harrison Ford did this as a movie and, while not his best work, had an interesting premise. I don't find any character particularly likable, but I'm neutral on them. I think that will probably hurt the show if they don't give people a way to relate to these folks.

I don't find Justin Theroux a very good actor, in fact I kind of find him off-putting but I get why he's leading the cast since his uncle wrote the book.

I am so far shocked that a main character isn't gay, honestly. Apple's signature trademark on all films and TV it puts out is a central gay character (I'm sure there will be one soon). Hopefully they don't go down that path just to appease that community and just make the story more about the story and less about agendas.

Three hours in. Annoyed the the most central aspect to the plot - why he’s running - has yet to be revealed. The last hour was boring desert scenes, and most of the hour before that was the same. I may revisit the show, if I hear good things in the future.

This was a big let down. Started interesting and become less and less interesting as it started to go slower and slower paced. I managed to see the entire first season and it ended in a less ideally. Beginning of Season two has been unbearable. I just gave up on this. There are a lot better shows out there.

Apple seems hell bent in bringing us some of the most slowed paced and innocuous scripts ever written, between this and Echo 3, I found a cure to my insomnia.

[tv+] An adaptation that has few elements in common with the original story. As a trans-Mexican escape thriller it works well, but neither the essence of the story nor the objectives of the characters have much to do with the novel. Allie Fox is simply a fugitive, little left of the obsessive seeker of naked happiness. S2 tries to redirect the path towards the novel, but only based on endless dialogue scenes that slow down the narrative of a season with more episodes and soporific. Through a flashback the characters are repositioned trying to balance the forces but despite them it does not achieve a deeper development, especially in the children, a perfect example of the ineffectiveness of this story.

Moves too slow, it's downright painful. I've been reading reviews and what-not to find out why they're on the run. Seems no one knows. I'm not even going to finish the first episode.
