The second half of the Batman Animated series is just as good as the first half, I won't be saying as much for these seasons beacuse all of the praise I gave the first half of this series I actually give to this one. We've got the introduction of Tim Drake here and shockingly he was nowhere near as annoying as I remembered him to be, as a matter of fact he usually feels like he's just there. Dick Grayson makes his appearance as Nightwing and one of my only complaints is that I wish we had more of Nightwing than what we actually got. Batgirl gets a lot more time in the spotlight than she did before. I really miss Harvey Bullock since we see him and less and less as the seasons go on. The only 'Non-Batman' DC characters that make guest appearances are The Creeper, Etrigan the Demon and Supergirl. One tiny thing that bothers me is that the difference between Bruce Wayne and Batman's voice isn't as clear as it was before, sometimes it feels like there is no attempt to hide the voice.

This half actually managed to get away with a lot more adult jokes than the first half did, the majority of them provided by Harley Quinn. Mainly her flirtatious behavior and obsession towards Joker, asking him if he wants to "Rev up your Harley". One adult moment that's painfully obvious is where Roxy Rocket basically has an orgasm from the thrill of the situation she was in.

While it is technically the same show this half goes through an entire art revamp. The art style isn't as incredibly dark as it was before and it is a lot more closer to the DC Animated Universe art style we see in the other shows such as Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League. Almost every character gets a retool for their appearance, all of them being great except for the Joker. Here the Joker looks less like a clown, his face honestly is all white with no clown makeup, he honestly just resembles a mime wearing a purple suit. Other examples include, Penguin actually looks human now, Bane seriously looks like he's rocking BDSM gear, Scarecrow looks like a grim reaper, Mad Hatter looks like he was designed by Tim Burton, Batman no longer has the color blue.

I really like the plot twist in Judgment day, by far one of my favorite twists in the series. Legends of the Dark Knight was a fun one giving us nostalgic stories of old school Batman. Every episode that shows Harley Quinn is top notch, I can definitely see why the fans ended up loving her. Like in the first half I wouldn't call any episode terribly bad but the episode "Critters" might not fall well with viewers because of how bizarre the premise is, it feels like an episode ripped straight out of Adam West's Batman show, heck some might even find it amusing at how stupid the episode is. Some may also dislike the ending of "Over the Edge" but it's actually one of my top favorite episodes in the entire series.

When I first started to re-watch this series I expected to come out of it thinking it was overrated but no it absolutely deserves the praise that it has received over the years. Don't let Batman's obnoxiously toxic fanboy cult keep you from enjoying this show.
