@mrtapa I'd like to respect ur opinion but I'm just baffled by how you can enjoy the writing in this shows. I would've given it a 6 or 7 if not for the cringy writing of the post rescued OA. The ragtag "gang" of teenagers and a teacher have bad actors protraying even worse written characters. They shoehorned in a girl crossdressing and never explore it, they expect us to simpasize with a bully who comes from a pretty decent family. I could rant on about the incensitive shoehorned school shooting but I won't, and I will conclude by recommending the Leftovers a series with similar tendencies to leaves audiences baffled but has outstanding acting and well written character.

@jakesmen I have watched the leftovers, first season was great and then the second one was like they ran out of ideas and came up with a half backed story. After watching the OA I quickly concluded that it has to be my number one show I have ever watched, since its not a tv show but a well shot and presented story segmented into 8 chapters that offers a slow progressing story to introduce a universe insired by Yayoi Kusama's exhibition(not sure but they do look similar). As far as acting goes, Marling was amazing as always and the teenagers, well I didnt spot anything that would suggest bad acting, but rather an unintentional progression of character. An example of bad acting can be The flash, or arrow.I would reccommend watching a movie called iOrigins, or Another Earth. If the acting bothers you there, then we just have a very different understaning of how a story should be told and how acting comes to it. Also because I mentioned that the OA became my number one,I will leave you with my top 10 so you can have a better understanding of my taste.
THE OA
UTOPIA
WESTWORLD
DIRK GENTLY's HOLLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY
SENSE8
THE EXPANSE
STARTUP
11.22.63
HUMANS
MR ROBOT
:)

@mrtapa IDK I thought Leftover S2 was better. And I though I Origins was decent mostly due to The Jimmy Darmondy character (sorry I can't remember his name). I've never heard of Utopia, Hollistic Detective, Agency, Expance or Startup but I gotta agree with u on Mr. Robot (Loves the references), and Westworld and I hate CW shows (Arrow, Flash). But Humans, 11.22.63, SENSE8, rly. IDK I guess we just have different tastes. Do you only like sci-fi tho?

@jakesmen I do like a good story that is open to interpretation, and it just happens that Sci-Fi has that to offer. Just drama for TV series isn't that ambitious to offer a well shot movie like experience. I would say True Detective wins it there easily. I don't mention Breaking Bad since its kinda old and at that time the vision for TV series was to be,well a TV series to keep you waiting for the next episode and it followed a strict template.Now we have netflix and HBO and long stories rather than a bunch of series starting with :"previously on" that allows for much greater things, and i think the Sci-Fi genre can make use of the new formats. And tbh normal drama rarely makes me want to watch something

@warrilow2017
rewatch the last bit of the last episode, she was in a different place at the end, it is open to interpretation but we already know that the movements work, there is no reason not to thing that she traveled somewhere
