The first Turkish tv show in international standarts!

For those watching in English, the sub was actually surprisingly decent. Just finished the last episode of the season. As far as the show itself is concerned; It isn't really anything that hasn't been seen and done before, but a solid show with fitting casting. Best I can say is if it sounds like something you'd be interested in, you will probably enjoy it like I did. If/when a season 2 were to pop up, I'd keep watching.

so glad this was Cancelled. was the worst ever. first Season started out ok but after that it was awful. Bad acting storyline was horrible. Do not understand why Netflix paid all that money for this mess

Story is good but the actors are so fucking bad ....

The Protector is a trivial TV series, with a rough acting even by the main characters, the fights are clumsy and lacking in dynamism, artificial and obvious. However I saw the whole first season hoping it could improve over time. But even the first episode of the second season was a total disappointment, with a very predictable plot. The **Immortal** as evil protagonist seems one of the villains of the worst cartoon series, banal in attitudes. In short, an unwatchable TV series.

The show picked my interest. The general idea is overdone on tv and film, but I gave it a try. Closest analogy for me are shows like Chuck and The Flash(most of CW superhero shows tbh). I don't say this is good as them, but the basic plot is the same you got a young hero on crusade. It got redicilious at some point. I watched seasons one and season two. I stopped at the beginning of season three. The show just got tiresome to watch. Don't watch with English dub and subtitles at same time. [spoiler]The show suffers from modern hero problem. The most problems of the hero are made by himself. The hero lacks common sense. All the people around him are more qualified then him. Also for mystic show they did not reveal why he is the protector or why the bad guys are the bad guys. I guess they tried to hook the viewer with future reveals or something.[/spoiler] The main actresses are beautiful.

Story is good. Most of the actors do a good job. Up to season 2 EP 6 in our watching but the writers really made the protector just a little too useless and stupid. No can really be that useless.

there is only 7 episode in season 4...not 10...please correct it...

Skip this show, you’ll save hours of time that could be spent doing something else. This show has a lot of potential but as it stands, it’s plagued by poor acting & writing. The show should really be called “The Story of an Idiot Who Never Evolves or Learns from His Past Mistake”. It’s 4 seasons of a character that does not grow even after seeing he’s made mistakes. He just keeps doing the same foolish thing over & over. Typical Netflix sub-par show.

They should’ve called this show The Foolish Protector because Hakan is retarded.

Each episode is 20 mins way too long & should’ve been 6 episodes max per season. Too much back & forth drama. But Leyla is hot.
