Seattle: Bad Blood
The 32nd season sees seven strangers move into an upscale loft in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood with the hope of starting an exciting new chapter in their lives, but what they don’t know is there are seven other people coming to crash their party. The roommates will be given the opportunity to revisit a particularly difficult relationship in their lives, capturing their efforts to work through their “Bad Blood” while living under one roof.

Washington D.C.

Washington, D.C. was officially announced as the location for the newest season on June 10, 2009. Filming began on July 2, 2009 and completed on October 12, 2009. The season's December 30, 2009 premiere was watched by 1.9 million viewers. The March 31, 2010 season finale was watched by 1.1 million viewers, the record low at the time for a season finale of the The Real World. The finale was immediately followed with a reunion special, The Real World: Washington D.C. Reunion. Overall the season averaged 1.5 million viewers a week.
Cancun

Series co-creator Jonathan Murray explained the choice of Cancun, saying, "Cancun is a good one to do after Brooklyn, which was a more gritty environment."

As its title indicates, Back to New York was the first season of The Real World to take place in a city that had hosted a previous season, as the show's first season was set in New York in 1992.
New Orleans

It is notable for the cast's concerns over castmate Ruthie Alcaide's excessive drinking, resulting in her leaving the house to enter an alcohol treatment program, which is cited as one of the series' memorable moments by Time magazine.
Seattle
Set on Pier 70 with a stunning view of Seattle's Elliott Bay, this Real World features--for the first time--cast members who knew each other before arriving at the house. To give the show a new music twist, the seven strangers work as "modulators" at alterna-rock radio station, 107.7 The End. What begins as a series of promotional duties eventually leads to producing and hosting a live radio show. The gang has to deal with major issues ranging from the perils of long-distance relationships to suicide. Later in the season, the cast members travel to Nepal in support of their various radio station duties. And who can forget Stephen's goodbye slap for Irene?
Boston
The Real World: Boston is the sixth season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras follow their lives and interpersonal relationships. The Boston cast lived in a converted historic firehouse at 127 Mt. Vernon Street, Boston, Massachusetts, which is located right off of Charles Street and was also used in the television series Spenser: For Hire. The show made its debut in 1997. This was the only season to be filmed in New England, and the second season to be filmed in the Northeastern United States. The season ran for 25 episodes, which was the most for any season until it was surpassed by the Las Vegas season.

Los Angeles

The Los Angeles season featured a total of nine cast members over the course of the season, as one cast member was evicted and replaced, and another was replaced when she got married. The Real World expanded from 13 to 21 episodes with this season. The season, which documented 22 weeks of the cast's interactions, began with two cast members being flown to Nashville and then spending ten days driving cross country to Venice Beach in a Winnebago, picking up a third cast member in Owensboro, Kentucky along the way.

Pedro's health is beginning to deteriorate, as his T-cell count gets lower. The cast is beginning to realize the extent of his illness and is worried about the possible consequences. This creates tension between Pedro and Puck, because Puck does not respect the way Pedro chooses to live his life. Pedro continues to give educational seminars on living with HIV and Pam and Judd go to support him when he speaks at Stanford University. Rachel and Cory go with Puck to the house he grew up in and meet his mother, who, to their surprise, is completely normal. The next day, Pedro, Judd and Pam go to the park and take it easy by playing soccer and enjoying each other's company.

As the group enjoys their last few days together, Cory, Judd, Pam and Pedro spend a day in Monterey while Rachel and Jo bond in San Francisco. Mo continues to work hard on his band's single and music video, isolating himself from his roommates. Pedro and Rachel have lunch and discuss their different views in life. Despite their differences they seem to understand each other's viewpoints and remain friends. Puck gets his driver's license back, picks up his car, and heads to the Lombard loft to pick up some of his things he left behind when he was kicked out.
The entire casts, minus Puck, sit around and play a question and answer game. As move-out day arrives, they all reflect on how this experience has changed them and eventually hugs and tears follow. Jo and Rachel are the last to leave, but not before one more phone call from…you guessed it, Puck. Puck talks to Rachel about their relationship when they first moved in. The Rachel/Puck flirtation continues with the Critical Mass bike ride, leaving Judd on the outside of the triangle. Pedro overhears Puck and Rachel telling gay jokes on the phone; he gets upset, but lets it go. Pedro grapples with the fear that his relationship with Sean is going to fast, he tells Pam that he's falling in love. Rachel tries to go out on a date with Harlow, but Puck winds up chaperoning and interfering, leading to Rachel's decision to distance herself from Puck. Rachel's friends, Patty, Francis and Heather come to visit. Judd gets romantic with Francis, but is saddened when she returns to Arizona. Puck's constant flirtation with Heather leads to an argument between Rachel and Heather. Rachel denies any attraction to Puck. Pedro talks to Sean about feeling torn between Sean/San Francisco and family/Miami. Puck assures Rachel that nothing happened with Heather.

Aloha! The cast leaves for an adventure in Hawaii, where they hope that they'll have a chance to bond. Once they arrive there is trouble in paradise as the group fights over the suite. Once they are all settled in, they head off to a luau. A vegan, Jo gets very disturbed when the roasted pig is pulled out of the ground. She feels that the stuffed pig looks like a rotten corpse. Jo accidentally eats some of the pork and runs to the bathroom. The cast tries surfing and the girls rock, while the guys have trouble. Pedro has plenty of time to relax and enjoys parasailing. Jo and Rachel bond by partying and meeting guys. While the cast is cliff diving, Rachel slips off the cliff. Luckily, she makes it down in one piece. By the end of the trip the group is closer and the friendships grow stronger.
