This show is from the same creator of Xavier: Renegade Angel so that alone should tell you the type of show this is. Clever, horrific and incredibly funny at times, it's all wrapped up in a great piece stop motion animation media. This show straddles a fine line of coming off as clever to seeming like just a bunch of random shit thrown at the wall to see what sticks, episodes are either the former or the latter but either way the show is worth watching just for the unique and appealing artistry of stop motion. I can't wait for the second season. Adult Swim has been making some pretty hard misses with their shows lately but I can confidently say this one is a hit.

The promo episode set this up for what I, and I'm sure many other people were looking to be existential mindfuckery with adult swim chaos, blood, guts and laughs. Instead, feast your eyes on pure random generator dialogue and scenes that are hard to sit through. Completely agree with the other user's comment about the writers just picking words out of a hat and going free for all on the script.

This should've just stopped at the 1 off 10min promo.

I guess this show is supposed to be a genius mind fuck with all these concepts that drive us to an existential crisis... but it's such a huge miss. I wish it were at least humourous or at least entertaining... but it's just SO BORING. Great story line concepts that are "deep" but the execution is a fail. Every time I sat through an episode, I would feel relief when the credits rolled. That's not what an animated show should make you feel. I've seen 11 episodes so far and that's 11 too many, I'm tapping out

I'm pretty weird and considering I'm Gen Z, this show should be perfectly my kind of humour but it just doesn't work. I'M LITERALLY THE DUDE WHO LAUGHS AT BIG CHINGUS and maybe that says more about me than the show but it needs a bit more than just random weirdness because that just gets boring. I need some kind of meat to latch onto a story, which just isn't present here. Maybe the issue is that it isn't weird _enough_ it's just stupid and contrived. It looks like that the writers want you to believe that they're geniuses because of the bs they have carved up but it's just not enough. Idk how but try being weirder next time, you may get my approval.
