i used to be good. season 7 have to be the final season.

Despite its evident flaws, I'll always have a soft spot for The Vampire Diaries: it was the first Tv series I started following, the first I fell in love with which also led to my first binge and of course my initiation to "shipping my OTPs" ... it's a lot to live up to I guess!! So I don't really care about the inconsistencies, the obvious hypocrisy, or how annoying some characters were, taking turns throughout the seasons. That's all true but I decided I want to remember how much I got swept up by the various storylines they told in eight years, how much I cried during emotional episodes ( guys when [spoiler]Liz Forbes[/spoiler] died I thought I'd never stop, I can't listen to that song without weeping ), how insanely hot and definitely talented the cast was and how taken I've been from the beginning to the end no matter what ... this show deserves all my praise!!

People still watch this show??? I stopped at season 3!

I think I only watched the show for the first time only because of Damon and Elena. I am obssesed with their romance, and of course I'm obssesed with him, who isn't?
The first four seasons were really good, although Elena and Damon weren't together, but I liked their relationship in first season better. Then - when people started die, and then come back, because they were stuck in ,,the other world'', the show started to get kinda boring, because does it didn't really make sense anymore.
I hope people will make more shows like TVD in the first season - because the aesthetic, literally everything in there is AMAZING.

As the seasons go by its getting worse.

I used to love this show but now the producers are only trying to get the story going but it's getting pretty bad.

I keep coming to this show every couple of years and I can't stop bingeing. That's how good this show is.

I don't want it to end. I want to see the life everyone is having. I'm crying because I don't want it to be over!!!

the spin-off series 'The Originals' is waay better than this guys
