When I read the previous comments I got a different approach to this anime, I didn't like at all the comedy in this, I was hoping that the more serious second part would do more for me, and it was better but still not good enough. Unfortunately I never really cared for any of the characters, still watchable but not great. I thought it would be better than Gungrave but I'd still give an edge to Brandon & Harry.

SPACE WESTERN This niche genre is filled with Firefly and Cowboy Beebop. Trigun excels in crafting wonderful and loveable characters. Vash the Stampede is a hyper accurate gunslinger that refuses to kill. This post apocalyptic new world will test his will to survive vs his will to protect. This animation is detailed and stylish. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll eat copious amounts of donuts.

An anime with decent art and decent setting. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptia, then this would be a recommendation, otherwise I think most people will want to skip it because of a weaker story that's also stretched too thin.
