Video game style anime series that leaves you hating the main characters mother who has an unexpected start in game.

Can't say that I really would get into this anime series, and feel it really is a gamers worst nightmare. To be honest the gaming genre styled anime series which have been picking up each season has been amazing, but sadly this series is not among them. At anytime the main character could have just decided to abounded his mother or in fact just go on a PKing spree w/ no real worry on real life set backs instead of conforming to this government beta program.

The main characters mother only approves of team members who meet her own standards vs letting her son pick out actual players who have the backgrounds needed to form a good party. At no point in time does this mother make one correct choice other then to keep cheering her son on regardless of always taking the spot light. (including a softcore scene w/ the slimes)

The main characters mother starts off w/ two god like swords making her character out shine her sons single god like sword which can only cast one spell it would seem. On top of that we have this in game mother gaining skills over her son at every turn, and she even had a say in who could be in there starting party which made no sense given she is not a gamer or even the party leader.

Again if you are only interested in this series for a good laugh then have at it, but if your the type to get upset over the obvious flaws in an anime series then just ignore this series and head for the hills.
