The way they combined credible information with gossip and TikToks was… a choice. Not a good choice. I don’t know how anyone can possibly call this a documentary. It’s commentary at best and it’s just not well done. Though it provided some perspective on Hammer’s background and the kind of family he came from, it was hard to trust all of the information. Wasted potential for the sake of sensationalism.

is it entertaining? yes. is it a proper documentary? not sure. it all feels a lot of hearsay and speculation, brought up by tiktokers and influencers and people remotely involved with the hammer family. I am not saying in any way that anyone mentioned is innocent, or that the accusations are false, but as a documentary this is rather lacking, it feels like they're using information that is somehow already in the public sphere as that wouldn't bring anyone a lawsuit, and running with it.... it's a pity because the whole story is interesting, (if we get past all the people called in to voice their opinions that are not even involved in any of the situations directly, like armies.... school colleague? like why?)

Wasn't a fan of the presentation - felt very VH1 talking heads type segment with various social media influencers (nobody cares about your Insta handle), badly reading off a running sheet...very...slowly...monotonously. It was well researched, and a damning account of his family's history. Just presented in the worst possible way.

Could be shorter. It jumps back and forward quite a lot and leaves an incomplete taste in your mouth
