The Boys had its moments, it wasn't perfect but at least it was engaging.
Then along came Gen V. Painfully slow and quite frankly, boring as hell. It feels more like a puerile teenie drama with a few super hero add ons, than anything else.

Don't listen to MovieGuys review AT ALL. It doesn't even sound like they watched The Boys throughout.
If you loved the boys, you will love Gen V. Yes it is a bit disturbing, but so was the boys. You don't watch The Boys or Gen V for clean entertainment.

Not as good as the Boys, somewhat more predictable due to the "teenage" college setting and the characters are nowhere near as likable as Hughie, Butcher, Frenchie, MM and Kimiko
