The Good Place + Black Mirror = Enjoying too much!

Loved it. Binge watched over 2 days. It is relaxing and feel good. Truly loved it, and I do not binge watch...ever!

Season 1 and 2 started out with a nice premisse, and then at the end of season 2 and more so at the start of season 3 the writers must have collectively gotten an aneurism. Utter (pun intended) garbage.

Is it just me or does Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) look just like Caroline (Beth Behrs) in Two Broke Girls?

I guess the optimistic version of Altered Carbon and Black mirror. It's Binge worthy.

What the hell happened with writing in season 3? The show is unbearable now.

First season really got me. It was fun but themes like upload, Virtual Reality and eternal life has a kind of serious undertone The second season im more about Nora the operator/Angle and in real life. and less about VR in Lakeview. First season 9/10

This was thoroughly enjoyable. A binge-worthy show. But sadly as is the norm these days the season ends just as it was getting good. Guess I'll just have to wait for season 2.

I think it’s sad how little people know about Upload. It deserves more fans, because it’s really solid. I binged both seasons when they came out. The story has some interesting takes, but is nothing super shocking or surprising. That doesn’t bother me though. The whole vibe is just so lighthearted and fun, that you’ll have a good time watching.

i feel like casting Robbie Amell is a fantastic way to achieve peak mediocrity. i can't think of a single performance of his where i was impressed. seems to be more the fault of the showrunners as there's nothing objectively bad about him or his delivery, he just loves mediocre shows and movies?

Upload is no exception. in broad strokes, the concepts and ideas explored by the show are interesting and original. but it doesn't really make any statements and it's not brave in any way, so it comes off as cringy and "tropy".

it also really bothers me how they apparently spent zero dollars on technical consulting. 2gb for a fully interactive VR environment? how does simply putting on VR goggles allow the system to show your expressions and hand gestures and movement? there are so many irritating, incredibly stupid hand-waves happening that could have been done way better with just a little bit of thought or explanation.

Upload is great background noise, just don't pay too much attention to it and you'll enjoy it.

so, season 1 he was an Upload, season 2 ha was a Download, I'm guessing season 3 he'll be a Reload

I loved the show, I'm hyped for the second season

filming for Upload Season 2 will begin in January 2021.

I honestly started to see if she was very speculative and really caught me. It has a slightly crazy plot but I don't think it's too crazy for what it will be in about 20 or 30 years.

I quite enjoyed this show! I went in knowing nothing about it, aside from the synopsis, and I came out feeling like I've found a new gem. I am very much looking forward to season 2.

The acting is great, the scenes are lucious and vibrant, the story is compelling, and the motifs are spot on. I watched this start-to-finish on a Sunday afternoon, and had a good time. I found myself immersed, and I feel like Amazon hit a homerun with this one.

I highly recommend watching this show, especially if you enjoy Black Mirror.

Honestly, I do not understand why so many people like it. Every episode that I watched (so far 5 and a half) feels very cringy, the whole concept seems very unbelievable and unrelatable.

I get that they are trying to make fun of capitalism and greed, but they provide examples that are completely unrealistic. I understand the comparison with black mirror and the good place, but those shows were relatable, with a vision of the future that seems possible and made me think of what would I do in their place. In UPLOAD on the other hand, it's just one stupid decision followed by another, surrounded by weird and very improbable circumstances.
The relationship aspect of the series is very toxic and unhealthy [spoiler]from the side of all the characters, bad girl is just plain stupid and bad for no reason, a good girl is presented as very good, but still crosses too many boundaries, the main guy also seems to have no opinion and just lets everyone do whatever they want with him.[/spoiler]

It is a binge-worthy tv series.

It's light, a little bit of comedy, drama and dark humor.
It irons our limited data plans, intrusive ads and in-app purcharses.

The technical aspects make 0 sense (I mean 2GB, really? They could at least have made it TB or PB - 2 GB is nothing when you're just surfing the web, and we are talking about realistic imaging here - even if we don't count all the data thinking itself would use up) but it is a nice show and besides the data volume thing they thankfully ignore the technical aspects most of the time.

Sadly Season 1 ends where it starts to get interesting on a giant cliffhanger. I hope it gets picked up for a season 2.

This is really a RomCom with a mystery to drive the plot. Unfortunately, the comedy is immature as are most of the characters. There is an attempt at a redemption story but anything serious is shrugged off. I give this series a 6 (fair) out of 10. Maybe not worth watching. [SciFi RomCom]

I really loved this show. I enjoyed this futuristic show and love the humor. Can't wait for the next season!!
