This was a weird little BL. The concept was a little stretch of the imagination and as far as execution goes I personally felt it was a bit muddled. The rules of the worlds weren’t well explained, and the concept of a portkey was very underdeveloped. At a certain point, I had to let it go and acknowledge that the multiverse concept was not the point of this drama. It gave GMMTV an opportunity to have multiple big name cameos - Ohm and Nanon, Gun, Mix, Love and Milk, Perth, Tay Tawan, and more. Once I decided that I wasn’t going to be invested in the plot, it allowed me to enjoy the better parts of his show.

Mostly the friendship, love and professional journey of the “Friend Credits” group in the alternative universe, and the love between Talay and Puen. It’s impressive that Sea and Jimmy are rookie actors because I do think they did a really good job with what they were given in this show. Especially Sea. I am in love with Neo - who plays Up in Vice Versa - and I want more of him in literally everything, and his playful banter with Aou ( “Aou” Thanaboon Kiatniran) was an excellent undercurrent to the show that added a lot of joy and enjoyment. I also appreciated the way they depicted failure and success and how hard work and camaraderie sometimes isn’t enough to be successful. I felt that was a very mature approach.I also felt the styling in this show was so slick - the use of colours really was well thought out and defined. Talay’s wardrobe is literally everything, men should wear more colour in their lives.

Jesus though, there was too much product placement in this show. Thai shows usually manage to do product placement a little less heavy-handed, but this show was big on KFC (seriously, they ate it every fucking episode), and toothpaste. How many toothbrushing scenes can a show have? Also - and spoiler alert here - [spoiler] the Lays marriage proposal takes the cake and smashes it. [/spoiler]
So - overall, I am looking forward to seeing more of Sea and Jimmy and Neo. This show won’t be a rewatch, but it was enjoyable enough for what it is.
