My take on the first episode : I really like it. The ambiance is sold very well, it reminds me of Hell of Wheels. The fights are well choreographed so far. The dynamics are setting well too between the different groups with charismatic characters. Maybe too much clichés but it's often the case in shows like this.

After 7 episodes, the series became very weak. There is nothing to tell really.At first, it's the story of a immigrant who came in search of a certain person. After founding it, he wanders aimlessly. The production even is cheap at some points.

This shows fight scenes are fantastic, it's just a shame that everything else is either stupid or boring.

Being a massive fan on the TV show Banshee and both these shows coming from Cinemax I gave this show a shot and I'm glad I did. The actors and fight scenes in the show are excellent and for any fan of martial arts they are a must, also actor wise we all get Hoon Lee who played Job from Bansee which is a treat. But the strength of this show is not just the excellent martial arts often provided by Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji), it has a complex social story focused around not only waring gangs but also the police with some excellent side characters and the frustrated American Irish. The key actors for each of these groups such as Jagger, Bew and Weston-Jones provide some great acting chops. On the female side Joanna Vanderham also adds a great turn as a gorgeous strong love interest for Ah Sahm and Dianne Doan provides the heart of Ah Sahm's sister. All in all a great TV show that gets better and better, season 2 so far has brought some great characters that really compliment and some fun and challenging stories. Love it!

This show is literally Peaky Blinders: Asian Edition. Love it!

I love this so far. I give this 10/10 having only seen one episode. I may have to score this down if it doesn't keep up the current pace. That said, if you like martial arts and like the idea of peaky blinders meets china town... this is it. A total random discovery but this is really good fun, very different, and just a great way to lose 45 mins of your life. I hope it doesn't fizzle out and end up some cheesy rubbish. So far my verdict is I cannot wait to watch more. Check it out!

As someone that absolutely fucking loved Banshee I'm actually mad at myself that it took me until now to watch this. It's fucking amazing and I'm going to be pissed if they don't renew it for a third season.
