The voice acting is top notch, but I don't really like the animation style, also not sure why they made 4 parts, yet aired them in two blocks of two? It's also been slightly sanitised from the 70s movie version that traumatised a generation of kids, but not quite as much as the cutesy 90s series . . .

@glasgow1975 totally agree. I think the four episodes will be for when it's on Netflix. I struggled to get through it all and put subtitles on at some points to make out what they were saying. And there was no 'Bight Eyes'!

I don't think I have never watched one before (and I never read the book..), maybe I did as a kid many years ago and now I don't remember. I understand that currently there are only few ratings, still a 63% (at the time of this review) is far too low. The animation is good, nothing exceptional but good. The acting seems decent (although I am watching it in Italian) and all together the show makes me care about these little furry balls. Most important of all I watch it with pleasure, it is quite entertaining which is the main reason why I watch anything. Never a bore.

This was a fun watch, the only issue I had with it that it was hard to differentiate the characters.
