Wrestlemania is a darn solid Mania that is sadly suffering from two mediocre main events.

The Mania XXI starts with a solid match between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero (RIP). A great way to start off the years biggest PPV.

Following that we have the first ever "Money in the Bank" match and it is a casebook case of a great ladder match. We have wonderful talents like Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christian, Edge and Kane all laying one heck of a smackdown on each other with CHris Benoit being a standout for putting his body through what looked like unimaginable amount of legit pain. On top of the match just being enetraining, it really helped cement Edge as an opportunistic R rated superstar we all love today.

Undertaker vs Randy Orton was considered by many one of the first truly great Undertaker WrestlMania matches and for all the good reasons. Young Randy really showed off his talent in this match with the "Legend Killer" gimmick really adding spice to the entire storyline. I also do not really need to tell you that Undertaker in his younger days (sort of he was about 40) was great. A great addition to the PPV

The next match of Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels was undeniably match of the night For 27 and half minutes Angle and Michaels constantly show you how to make an unforgetable match. It is thrilling, tense, very technical and organic. An instant classic.

Then we had a one minute of Big Show vs Akebono sumo match.....boy I sure did not need to see Big Show wear a sumo uniform. Hello Nightmares. Seriously though, I would complain about it being uninteresting and unneccery (which it is) but the whole match lasted like a minute and did not really take away from the show.

Now the next match is where the PPV really dissapoints and it does so at the worst possible way: dissapointing main events. First we have a Cena vs JBL match. Now Cena has a potential to pull off some great matches and if you disagree then we have been watching different WWE all that time. JBL I don't really care about, honestly. Sadly this match is one of the first prime exampes of sucky Cena matches. Cena gets beat up for 7-8 minutes then suddenly busts out AA and STF and wins. Uninspired, boring and dissapointing. I mean main even was shorter than the freaking kick off match, clocking on only 11 and a half minutes.

The second main event was not as much of a dissapointment, but was still nothing special. Triple H vs Batsita was a decent match all in all. I myself do really like Batista and have a softspot for Triple H (especially his theme songs and intros). This main event clocked in at a healty 21 and a half minutes. It is everything you expect from a decent-solid HHH vs Batista match.

So to top it all off this wrestlemania has a great kickoff match, a legendary first time "Money in the Bank" match, a solid Mania Undertaker match, an alltime classic of Angle vs Michaels, but really loses the momentum during both of the main events which is kind of a big thing. To tell you the truth if the Mania's main event was Angle vs Michaels while Cena's and Triple H's matches were somewhere in the middle, I would gladly name it one of the best WrestleManias ever, but sadly having the two ending matches being rather dissapointing and not up to standarts really hurt it. I do still consider it to be one heck of a great WreslteMania. I still give it a 9 for delivering at least 3 classic matches and a few decent ones on top of that.
