The acting is pretty bad, the CGI is laughable, the story doesn't appear that original to other Netflix Originals [spoiler] where a hero with new powers has a parental figure/family friend that has to be defeated _(The Protector, Iron Fist, The Order)_ [/spoiler] but I'm going to continue to give it ago, in the _doubtful_ hope that it improves.

I go onto Netflix to watch something else and this is all front and center on the home screen. First episode was ok, I just hope it doesn't end up being like Iron Fist.

The CGI were stolen from Power Rangers 20 years ago. I was looking forward to this when I saw the cast but it's pretty bad. A pale copy of Iron Fist when itself was also pretty bad.

Nice premise, with a few good scenes here and there but overall hot garbage.
Trashy but not quite abysmal and entertaining in the process on how bad this is.
Acting is generally awful, really awful for the main cast. The writing nonsensical.

Excellent stereotype. Asian means you can do martial arts. Not much has changed. So I assume this is not bad writing, but a way to fix the racist stereotype by making the main character ignorant in the Chinese ways as a white male from Mid West. And, of course, the bad white guy is Russian, the arch More

The trailer looked good, as was the choreography, but the plot as well as the visual effects, not so much!

Plus, what will season 2 mean; the wu assassin will now find worthy hosts of the wu elements?
