Chi-yung has depressed to a very low level and decided to give up his studies. Despite Ho-chu and Uncle Ku's incessant persuasion, Chi-yung does not change his mind. On seeing Chi-yung's frustration, Chou-ming is very worried, but he cannot alter the situation. Besides, since Tzu-fan is harnessed by his family problem, he does not express concern over Chi-yung's setback. Tzu-fan is dissatified when he finds out that Wai-shun brings his girlfriend, Mei-lun, back to his home. Being unhappy, he pays a visit to Ka-hsin. When Ka-hsin uncovers Wai-shuns secret courtship with Mei-lun, she rushes home to find out the truth. Then, Tzu-fan seizes the chance and tries to convince them to resume their past relationship. However, Wai-shun is indifferent to Tzu-fan's suggestion……
