@hobo89 After watching some clips on youtube, I fell in love with the show, however, it is not a comedy focused sitcom like Friends or How I Met Your Mother, it is more focused on drama, with some comedy elements, that is why most Big Bang Theory fans hate this show, because it isn't the same genre at all. It is also the reason why there is no laugh track, because even if it was filmed in front of a live audience, people wouldn't be laughing all the time because there is more drama than comedy. At first, I thought that the show needed to be funny for me to like it but what I realized is that I actually love the drama aspect and that made me want to binge watch the show in the past couple of days.<br /> <br /> Also, although I watched sitcoms in the past like "Friends" and "How I Met Your Mother", I never really watched The Big Bang Theory but I definitely plan to watch it once I finish Young Sheldon, and if I like it enough, I'll binge watch that show too. I usually don't binge shows unless I love them, I binged Smallville's 10 seasons in 2 months and that show remains in my top 5. The main thing that I like about Young Sheldon is Sheldon's autism, which I can relate with because I am also on the spectrum, but not anywhere near the same level as him, and what I also love is that he is the most intelligent character, although, socially, he is one of the dumbest, because of his autism. The second thing that I love about this show is the drama between the different characters.<br /> <br /> Of course, this show isn't anything impressive or amazing, it isn't of very high quality, but its level of quality remains consistent throughout the series so there isn't a huge quality gap between episodes, and because of that, I remain interested in the show, even though I don't give it a very high rating. I give a few episodes 8/10, but most are either 6/10 or 7/10 due to being fun but not great. So I can understand if you or other people don't like it.
