The relationship between Shan-Wen and Ruo-Yun slowly recovered with the help of Ya-Ge and Ting-Ting. Ruo-Yun was touched when she found out Allan gave up his position and equity to save her. She wanted to confess her sins to Allan but he stopped her. Afterall, they both had their own secrets to hide. On the other hand, Guo-Guang is contemplating if he should confess to Da-Shu.

Ya-Ge was agonised over the possibility that Paul might get a jail sentence. Paul sent a threat letter to Ya-Ge. Enraged, Ya-Ge threw Paul a punch in the face. Ting Ting called her father out, the remorseful father apologised and opened up about his tragic childhood for the first time. Meanwhile, Allan found a letter addressed to Ruo-Yun with a USB drive inside. He was shocked that the long-hidden secret had been uncovered!

In a shabby alley near the hotel, someone, feeling uneasy, watched Cindy's triumphant figure. In a state of panic, the person picked up a brick and viciously smashed it towards Cindy. Guo-Guang discovers that Shan-Wen had been waiting in the hotel lobby all night through the hotel CCTV footage. He had an Alibi, but who was he waiting for? Da-Shu found a photo on Freedom's account, stunned to know that Guo-Guang knew Sera! Allan filed for a divorce and Shan-Wen opted to stay with his father which came as a huge shock for Ruo-Yun. In the meantime, Guo-Guang and Da-Shu turn up at their door once more, pinning Ruo-Yun as a suspect of Cindy’s murder.

Allan learnt that his wife had sold herself in exchange for her exhibition. He lashed out on Ruo-Yun who then tried to report Allan for domestic abuse. She met Ya-Ge outside the police station. His words convinced Ruo-Yun and she decided to not report Allan. Guo-Guang discovered Sera's account under the name of "Freedom" on the porn site that Cindy was active on. Turns out, Guo-Guang knew Sera all along!

The duo turned up at the doorsteps of the Sun family to question him. Guo-Guang, the young police officer revealed looks of distraught upon arriving at the residence. They requested for Shan-Wen to undergo a DNA test to cross-match with the semen sample they had discovered in the victim body. Ruo-Yun protested against the test but her husband, Allan, agrees to cooperate. The next morning, another female corpse was found, mutilated with stocking-clad limps…

On a Leap Day four years ago, Sculptor Shaw Ruo-Yun's daughter, Sera Sun, was killed and mutilated. Her dismembered limbs were found to be clad in stockings. The police, despite constant pressure from Ruo-Yun, were unable to find the culprit. Ruo-Yun took matters into her own hands and created an exhibition as a memento to her late forgotten daughter, as a way to call out the murderer. A few days later, a young female corpse was found with her limbs intact, but similarly to Sera's death, her legs were clad in stockings.
