American Pie

This one time at band camp!!

American Pie was released 20 damn years ago. It used to be one of my favorite films when I was around 12/13 and throughout my puberty. The music, the humor, Nadia, Stifler, Eugene Levy, the apple pie scene, everything worked for young me. But now that I'm 30 and reading about American Pie being 20 years old already, I thought it could be a good time to revisit the main slices of American Pie as I've never seen the straight to dvd ones. Anyway, the charm is still there for me and now there is nostalgia too. I still could dream the film and every joke coming up, most of the lines and in the end, those 90 minutes flew by. I don't find it as funny as it was 15 years ago when I was in full 15 year old puberty. But it has its moments. I like the cast, Eugene Levy is the best, Stifler is still Stifler and at the end, they almost all got laid before they graduated.
