Be Somebody

This story has been told before better and worse. In this case I think that the script could have had more depth and the characters could have been developed a little more to make the movie all that it was promised to be based on the synopsis. The friendship was fairly developed, the "self-discovery" was touched on but the "first love" was barely grazed. The direction could have been a bit better and the chemistry needed to be worked on to develop the "first-love" concept. First loves stay with you for a long time and I didn't get the impression that it would not be forgotten for a long time even after it was said in the script. It was also too predictable. Some things presented in the film were a little unrealistic but all in all it was a nice light watch for an early morning.
