This is a fun sequel where you’ll enjoy it better if you turn your brain off and don’t take it seriously. Murphy, Reinhold and Ashton have great chemistry. Part 3 wasn’t as good at all without that trio.

_Beverly Hills Cop II_ is a must-watch for fans of action-comedy movies. It manages to surpass its predecessor with its impressive blend of humor and thrilling action scenes. The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Judge Reinhold and John Ashton, who provide fantastic support to Murphy's comedic genius. The chemistry between the characters is fantastic, and the movie keeps you engaged all the way through.

A fun film, full of the cunning of Detective Axel Foley. Even though it may seem a little forced at times, it is still extremely funny. However, the voice acting change to Axel Foley was disappointing; his voice didn't match well. Despite this, he delivered great scenes.

What a fun ride. This second installment in the Beverly Hills Cop film series was just as exceptional as the first. It was more action-packed, well, at least when there was action. This felt like it was more plot-oriented, both when I was watching it, and now, when I've finished watching it. And More

Entertaining enough sequel isn't as sharp as the original and some parts felt like Murphy's stand-up routine, and while the plot itself was weak, did enjoy the on-screen friendships between Murphy, Reinhold and Ashton. **3.5/5**

Well I suppose a sequel to the 1984 success was inevitable, and to be fair Tony Scott has managed to re-assemble the cast from the first film and recruit Jürgen Prochnow ("Dent") to adopt the Steven Berkoff role as baddie-in-chief.
