Framed for the murder of her husband, Libby Parsons survives the long years in prison with two burning desires sustaining her -- finding her son and solving the mystery that destroyed her once-happy life. Standing between her and her quest; however, is her parole officer, Travis Lehman. Libby poses a challenge to the cynical officer, one that forces him to face up to his own failings while pitting him against his superiors and law enforcement colleagues.

Very improbable and overdramatic version of The fugitive. I knew I've seen it before, but I didn't remember it very well, and now I've seen it again - the reason for not remembering is obvious. It's not very memorable movie.

An uninspired _The Fugitive_ rip-off with a really dumb script, even by Hollywood standards. It’s also lacking in any form of charm, which is odd because you can usually count on at least some personality in the acting/directing when it comes to schlocky 90s movies. I could write a longer review, but going more in depth would just require me to find different ways of expressing how uninspired, lazy and formulaic every aspect of this movie is, so to give you a quick idea: if it were released today, it would probably star Gal Gadot and release directly on streaming. It’s not the worst thing to come out of ‘99, but certainly among the most forgettable. 3/10

Pretty good movie. I wouldn't want to do time for a murder I didn't commit. If I was set up like this movie, I'd probably do the same thing she did.

Weak and from a legal standpoint complete wrong (despite a former lawyer turned murderer and former law professor saying so). Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones are good and Bruce Greenwood plays smarmy well but this isn't a very good thriller. **2.75/5**
