I guess they named the movie "Downhill" to explain it's quality... Awful. Don't watch it.

I think this was passed off as a comedy, but there wasn't one funny line or scene in the movie!!! This movie started off really bad and went downhill quickly from there... right off a cliff and into an avalanche (see what I did?). ZERO out of ten.

No, it's not as good as Force Majeure, the original iteration of this story. Its not as nuanced and its not as effective. However, Ferrell and Dreyfuss are still worth watching, and the film is enjoyable for the most part.

Horrible watch, will not watch again, and warn against.

As much as I am not a fan of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, I thought Will Ferrell would be a proper counter balance.

This is a somewhat closer to the vibe of "Everything Must Go", except now the wife and kids are there to actively attack.

Altogether forgettable, 'Downhill' is an avalanche of its own - starting off more than a little rocky, it accelerates towards its destination as it wipes out everything in its path, whitewashing what was there beforehand.
