After a construction project begins digging in their neighbourhood, best friends Tuck, Munch and Alex inexplicably begin to receive strange, encoded messages on their cell phones. Convinced something bigger is going on, they go to their parents and the authorities. The three embark on a secret adventure to crack the code and follow it to its source, and discover a mysterious being from another world who desperately needs their help. The journey that follows will change all their lives forever.

Not sure what people are complaining about that nice little movie. I liked it. No matter if there are some things not fitting right. It entertained me enough to gave 7/10.

If Abrams' Super 8 was a homage, Earth to Echo is bordering on blatant ripoff, both of the Abrams' film itself and of those 80s films Abrams was also referring to (specifically E.T. of course). All that was really missing were flying bikes. Even its one distinguishing feature, that of cameras carried by the cast to lend some semblance of authenticity to the story, has been done to death and the film can't overcome the inherent problem with films like this - why keep carrying the cameras when all hell breaks loose ? All that said, the central trio of children cast are likeable enough and do a good job of keeping the film watchable as the film progresses. For young children, this is probably fairly entertaining, for adults - make those children watch E.T. instead!!

In this movie nothing make sense, the dialogs are ackwards by moments, doing 17 miles takes maximum 2 hours and they are going in the afternoon so it should be the evening after, no it's night. And everything is like that in this movie, they can even breath underground, houses don't have foundations etc. Each minutes of this movie I was asking myself WHAT DO THEY THINKING ?! A (good) movie is seamless and if you don't understand what I mean by seamless, just take a watch.

I was not sure what to expect from this film. Turned out to be caring and sensitive wanting to transmit a message that we can have friends for life, willing to be with us for everything no matter what, but is soft and cute side was not enough.

Bad watch, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend.

I remembered this being decent the first time I watched it, but that was a Vidcon, so maybe it was the hype.

This movie is an example of why people don't like found footage, just thrown together as if some stupid kid did it, and then More
