What if Pinochet was actually a vampire who lived through the French Revolution and faked his death? The absurd premise of this horror comedy delivers several visually sublime moments, particularly intensified in the second half by the uncanny resemblance of the nun to the protagonist of “The Passion of Joan of Arc”. As for the content, I must admit that the premise alone wasn't enough to keep me focused for the whole length. The comedy didn't amuse me, and the satire only mildly tickled my supposedly underdeveloped brain.
