Jason Crockett is an aging, grumpy, physically disabled millionaire who invites his family to his island estate for his birthday celebration. Pickett Smith is a free-lance photographer who is doing a pollution layout for an ecology magazine. Jason Crockett hates nature, poisoning anything that crawls on his property. On the night of his birthday the frogs and other members of nature begin to pay Crockett back.

I had fun since I wasn't watching this alone and I could laugh at it but otherwise mostly boring. Cool to see a young Sam Elliott though.

It's a movie named "Frogs" so Shakespeare, it ain't. It is Joan van Ark and Sam Elliott early in their careers and Ray Milland late in his. It's a creepy little AIP production that does the best with what it has, but ultimately without the crutches of CGI, there is only so much you can do with real animals...if you are a responsible filmmaker and not creating a near snuff film like "Roar." Builds a creepy environment with little to no score and the constant croaking of the frogs...and the cast. Not great, but not horrible either. 7/10

Pre-mustache Sam Elliot just not cool enough to save this flick. Perhaps the power is in the mustache. Further research required.

My season pass recorded this because of Ray Milland and I watched it even though it's cheesy beyond belief. But it was fun.
