Hope is not just about a tormenting chapter or an episode of despair in a young girl's life but is a testament of true power of love and care. With a beautiful score, incredible performances and a moving screenplay Hope is easily an unforgettable experience.

Lee Re is exceptional and adorable. As a child artist she leaves you speechless. Sol Kyung gu and Uhm Ji-won as parents of Lee are spectacular. The wide range of emotions they display is extremely harrowing and powerful. The supporting cast is equally marvelous.

Overall, Hope is a rewarding experience which may be a bit traumatic but the heart it carries is beautiful and the honesty goes beyond filmmaking. A beautiful yet heartbreaking film which leaves you in the state of catharsis.
