Hubert, a brash 17-year-old, is confused and torn by a love-hate relationship with his mother that consumes him more and more each day. I´ve seen utopia and it's skinny and white. The "perfection" aesthetic that is being chased here annoys me; it's like a showcase of an ideal. It has good scenes, but all of them are Chantale's fault. The soundtrack is amazingly good and very "teeny" -- just like the movie. Id classify it as romanticism. The scene when Hubert asked "What would you do if I died today?" *walks away* then Chantale quietly awnser "I'd die tomorrow" made me feel goosebumps. Beyond from that... it's just first world problems -- not that this make the whole idea 'invalid', it's just boring.

it's very Xavier centric. I think he is a bit selfish as well. It's good tho. Very good.

It's a beautiful movie, aesthetically speaking. I did find it a bit repetitive though, there's no real growth from any of the characters, they just go around in circles. Great chemistry between the son and the mother.

Un imponente drama que a través de una fotografía simple pero artística y una banda sonora potente, logra llegar al espectador y mantenerlo preocupado desde que comienza hasta que termina. Su único problema es que a veces cae en la exageración.
