Jack, 19, Lisa, 17, and Mathis, 10, abruptly become orphans. Each sibling reacts differently to the family tragedy: Lisa spreads her wings. Jack, having just become of age is appointed as his brother’s guardian by court decision. A new life begins. _Just Kids_ is the 'European movie' you ordered, but it comes without an ending. It's right out of the box but sometimes you don't want what you expected, you want to get a present instead. A 19-year-old becomes the legal guardian for his 10-year-old brother when their father suddenly dies and you don't need to have seen the film to realize this is a bad idea. An interesting starting point gets stuck in a loop after the most interesting plot line of the film evaporates at the end of the first act.
