I have to admit that I felt a little pressured while watching this film. This movie is regarded as an all-time great movie by many respected reviewers (including Ebert) – I felt like I had to enjoy it. Don’t get me wrong – it’s a fine movie and I did like it. But I didn’t love it by any stretch of the imagination. At a crisp 90 minutes there really wasn’t any kind of character development. I did not feel much tension – certainly not what I would feel in a movie that is categorized as a thriller. By far the best scene of the movie (and it really is a great scene) is the last scene between the two leads.
