In Neko Atsume no Ie, Atsushi Ito stars as Masaru Sakamoto, a novelist who moves to the countryside to try to combat a bad case of writer's block. While struggling to begin his next novel, Masaru spots a stray cat, which he decides to befriend. Masaru leaves food out for the pretty kitty, and before long his new home is covered in cats.

I can't believe a movie about a cat is almost boring, what an actual fuck. I watched this movie for the cats and not for the plotline of the main character, sure its interesting but it felt so bland and there's no spark. It made it felt like they made that plot because they can't make a movie PURELY just about cats, they should look at Kedi (2016) Dir. Ceyda Torun This actually made me curious, did the director actually know what is the game? People obviously will watch this movie for the cat, and not the storyline, wtf dude, why?
