Julia is a mother, or rather, one of many mothers, sisters, daughters, colleagues, who have had their lives torn apart by the widespread violence in a country waging a war against its women. Julia is searching for Ger, her daughter. And in her search, she will weave through the stories and struggles of the different women she will meet.

[Netflix] Violence against women in countries like Mexico is measured in quantity, but the associations' demands seek to prevent names and surnames from being buried by numbers. The faces and the dates of the disappearances of many men and women are visible on the printed T-shirts or the embroidered handkerchiefs. This is a film of direct denunciation that remains impregnated with that background noise hidden by the thousands of voices of relatives of disappeared people. The noise that surrounds Julia in the search for her daughter, expressed with the closeness of the camera and the semi-documentary tone of a film that becomes physical in the representation of the condemnation of governments' complicity.
