Tom Lennon is always hilarious, Ian McShane too. But oof oof oof this movie is not good. Honestly I think whoever made that awful poster deserves an award because that's the only reason I watched it. It looked terrible. Unfortunately it's just bland, dumb and about 10 years behind on Furry jokes. Snooze fest. Hard pass.

This isn’t the best movie on the planet but it lands for a Christmas movie! How can you not appreciate the “It’s a wonderful Life” nod at the end! It’s cute. Although the Fury theme was a bit offend for me lol.

Pottersville is a strange and clichéd holiday film. After discovering that his wife is having an affair, Maynard Greiger goes on a drunken tear dressed up in a Halloween costume and is mistaken for Bigfoot, which at first proves to be a boom for tourism for the town but soon draws the wrong kind of attention from hunters and exploitation television. Starring Michael Shannon, Judy Greer, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, and Ian McShane, the film has a great cast; though their performances are pretty weak. Also, the plot is ridiculous and the jokes are rather lame. But worse than any of that is the score, which is incredibly heavy-handed. Trying to force some Christmas magic, Pottersville just doesn’t work.

Very fun movie. Shannon pulls off the role. It's not at all like his usual rolls, so I was nervous. But it's great. Sort of a generic story but played out very well. Worth a watch.

Dry humor and great fun! Even though there were only a handful of lol moments, I found myself smiling throughout. Maynard is an awesome "thinking" character and the addition of Brock Masters was really funny. I also loved the bimbo that Christina Hendricks played and she made great eye candy! Don't expect any cleavage though, just some (as Bad Santa would say), "gigantic" bumps.

Not for everyone, but if you like Jaws, Finding Bigfoot you’ll probably enjoy it. Oh, and It’s A Wonderful Life.

It's like the highschool band that covers The Beatles. Of course they're out of tune most of the time but at the end of the night you say: yeah, that wasn't that bad. Michael Shannon well captures the pure-hearted Avarage Joe, I'm always happy to see Ron Perlman, and the (fake)australian TV guy is funny as well in this heavily Christmas-spirited (awwww, that ending) 90 or so minutes. Somehow I thought it's a Netflix special (it's not) so I automatically compared it to El Camino Christmas. Anyways, Pottersville is miles better and fun to watch in the holiday season.
And yeah, the Beatles was Wes Anderson in this case.

Erm... not very good. Quite what Michael Shannon is doing in this tepid comedy is anybody's guess..though it was probably for the money. A weak and unfunny script will make this movie disappear faster than a real-life Sasquatch.
