Definetely the worst of the new movies so far, but doesn’t sink to episode 1 or 2 levels of bad either.

Pros:
- Alden Ehrenreich (yes, really) and Donald Glover are great.
- Very competently put together action sequences, the train heist in particular.
- Beautiful cinematography (though at times too desaturated for my liking).
- Any moment between Chewie and Han, their first meeting in particular.
- A very good score (although it could’ve been more tense during some of the action sequences).
- Production design/locations.

Cons:
- Holy fuck, that L3 droid is annoying! (I’m not one of those whiny people who sees SJW politics in everything, but here, that assessment would be completely justified).
- Lack of character development for the Qi’ra and Beckett characters.
- Loses a lot of steam after the first act.
- Predictable in its third act, it has twists you see coming from five miles away.
- Some of Emilia Clarke’s line delivery is too forced.
