As if a scary neighborhood with people walking around with machetes wasn't enough, we also have a Frankenstein situation when Vicaria revives her dead brother. A story about education, family, grief and death and an interesting character study on our main character. It's nicely shot and the grainy picture was a great idea. It's visually modern but there's a Frankenstein feel to it. Creepy score, good acting and some cool gory kills.

Been a while sinse I last saw Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese from *The Walking Dead*). He was great as the father, that scene with the teacher at the beginning was so emotional. Nice little detail to have him pick up his signature weapon in the movie.

A decent watch. I just feel like the monster wasn't as cool, scary or memorable as it could have been. Wanted a bit more to set it apart from a regular monster flick.
