The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster

*"If death is a disease... then there's a cure. And i'm gonna find it."* As if a scary neighborhood with people walking around with machetes wasn't enough, we also have a Frankenstein situation when Vicaria revives her dead brother. A story about education, family, grief and death and an interesting character study on our main character. It's nicely shot and the grainy picture was a great idea. It's visually modern but there's a Frankenstein feel to it. Creepy score, good acting and some cool gory kills. Been a while sinse I last saw Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese from *The Walking Dead*). He was great as the father, that scene with the teacher at the beginning was so emotional. Nice little detail to have him pick up his signature weapon in the movie. A decent watch. I just feel like the monster wasn't as cool, scary or memorable as it could have been. Wanted a bit more to set it apart from a regular monster flick.

boring, boring, boring, and boring.... talking about nothing that means nothing. using the word nigga all the time!!! stop it... yes you can make movies but they are s%it because of they aren't racist we have to put up with that horrible word you don't want ppl to say ever but by saying it every other word and for your names and put downs how are you supposed to rid the word? you can't. be who you want others to be. you don't like cussing don't cussing. you don't like belittling don't belittling. you don't want a word used don't use it, be the change Pete's sake.
