I did not really like it. Or really did not like it, haha. After 10 minutes of watching are hearing the word fuck/ing about 50 times, I wanted to just quit watching, but I held on until the end. Some lines were really funny though, but the movie in general.. nah, not for me. // EDIT (four years later): Full disclosure, I only finished this because it was an assignment for my Film Studies class. So I couldn't bear to drop it. I _cared_ for that class. I lived and breathed for that class. But well, I would've dropped if given another option.

I'm not sure how I feel about The Big Lebowski. A complaint I have with the Coen brothers' movies is that they often seem to sort of meander, their plots are just a series of events which don't really have much consequence. Why should I care what happens to anybody in their films? I guess this was more of an issue with Inside Llewyn Davis, at least something actually happened in The Big Lebowski. Some of the dialogue and performances, especially by Goodman, are pretty great though.

"That rug really tied the room together." I got the chance to see my all time favorite movie on the big screen and that is the way to see it. It was a crowded theater full of people (one was even dressed like Maude in Gutterballs) who love the movie and knew all the jokes that were coming but still laughed hard at them. Out of the countless times I've seen this, this was my favorite time. Infinitely quotable and never dull... the Dude abides. "Am I wrong?"

The German nihilists, the feminist artist, the porn manager, the crazy phedophile, the crippled fake business tycoon, the Vietnam-war obsessed psycho and off course the Dude: a lazy deadbeat lowlife. The Big Lebowski sure has a lot of colourful personages which in my opinion is one of the reasons th More

'The Big Lebowski' is entertaining.

Jeff Bridges and John Goodman are a fun duo, I even would've enjoyed this 1998 flick more if it was just those two for the whole near 2 hours. Everyone else on the cast is good too, amusing seeing Peter Stormare in a role like this - as opposed to one More
