Para los que no han leído The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, háganlo. Es una comedia bastante astuta. Una sátira sobre el universo y la humanidad que te da la impresión que está escrita por Dios Esta adaptación es más salada y entretenida al "estilo de película" y obligatoriamente perdió esa chispa al cambiar de narrativa y pasar por alto una buena parte del contenido. Es raro, porque en el libro hay una visión más seria acerca de lo que trata La Guía del Autoestopista Galáctico que te divierte, pero de una manera "inteligente". Con todo eso lograron entregar una diversión distinta a la del libro que de igual forma funciona, por lo tanto como película no es mala pero definitivamente son dos experiencias distintas así que seguro a muchos se les hace muy absurda de momento. Toda esa referencia de fondo que faltó es necesaria para disfrutarla bien.

I loved the book, as well as its sequels THE RESTAURANT AT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE and SO LONG & THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH, but I thought the film was a major disappointment. The books had me literally LOL'ing frequently - people around me were asking me what it was that was so funny. I think I LOL'd at this film once. So much of the humor in the books simply doesn't translate to the screen well.

Just read the Book, it's so much better. If you have read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy there is a series to read, get to it!
