Professor Van Helsing had been asked to help against the tyranny of skeletal creatures that are responsible for terror and death amongst the peasants in rural China. Certainly a different combination of genres that was interesting in concept but short on execution. Dracula seemed a bit tacked on and I think the movie would have been better if it had only been about the vampires of the mountain village in China. Peter Cushing is, of course, terrific and quite spry for an older gentlemen. David Chiang was great as the leader of the tremendous fighting force made up of his brothers and sister.
