Deft doc regarding the dawn of cable and Nickelodeon's climb to top kiddie programming. Interesting even if you don't remember the era, but particularly of interest to those that are familiar with that time. I DON'T KNOW what I would do without sliming in my childhood.

I came of age in the late '80s and early '90s, and in retrospect, I'm not sure there was a single more powerful influence on those formative years than Nickelodeon. _Pinwheel_ and _Danger Mouse_ colored my earliest memories, _Double Dare_ and _Mr. Wizard_ arrived a bit later, _Salute You More
