When young Joshua learns that he will be going on vacation with his family to a small town called Nilbog, he protests adamantly. He is warned by the spirit of his deceased grandfather that goblins populate the town. His parents, Michael and Diana, dismiss his apprehensions, but soon learn to appreciate their son's warnings. Guided by his grandfather's ghost, will Joshua and his family stand a chance in fighting off these evil beings?

Entertainingly bad... deserves either a 1 or a 10 depending on your point of view. Am going to split it down the middle and give it a 5. Fun to watch, and while obviously awful, there are films that cost millions of dollars more and are nearly as bad.. Rings, Pearl Harbour, Da Vinci Code, Norbit... and they don't have Troll 2's entertainment value. See the film and then check out the documentary Best Worst Movie which details the making of the film.

This movie completely throws out any logic in my rating and ranking of anything ever tbh. Its very entertaining and has tons of funny moments, but story and just what happens is..... something for sure. At Time of Review: Low 5/10 Story and Characters: 3/10 Presentation: 4/10 Enjoyability: 6/10

Catching up before it's leaving HBO Max. So bad it's good except it's just bad. I guess they have higher budget this time around and decides to take the silliness of the first film to the next level. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the experience despite the fact that it is terrible on purpose. The script and the acting are atrociously bad in every possible way. The goblin queen character is obnoxiously over the top, it hurts. It has no relation whatsoever to the first film and there are no trolls in it. It's not the worst I've seen but one of the weirdest films that will likely haunt me till I die.
