Troll

Catching up before it's leaving HBO Max. I was expecting it to be darker like _Dolls (1987)_ but it's still very delightful to watch. A family moves into a new apartment building. Shortly after the daughter Wendy is possessed by a troll who takes her form, uses her charm to get into each apartment and turn them into different universes. It's more of a fantasy film for kid with very minor horror moments. There's plenty of goofy ideas that not necessarily make sense. I really like how dumb and wildly imaginative it is, packed with 80s silliness and it's fully aware of that. It also features a great cast of characters. Each of them has their whacky charm especially Harry Potter Sr. Also great variety of practical creatures and the unexpected musical action to keep you entertained.
