Unearthed

I felt like watching a Horror movie with some kind of monster in it, so I chose this. I chose...poorly. Without thinking about it much (probably the same amount that the movie's creators took), this is a mashup of Alien and Predator in the desert. There is nothing here that you haven't seen before. The whole story is deliberate and the characters regurgitated from pretty much anything you've ever watched in this genre. The effects are of the same caliber as anything produced by The Asylum. I wasn't able to tell what was going on, either. During the monster attacks, the camera goes beyond shaky cam. It's more like the camera is actually just thrown into the middle of the melee and it's just bouncing around. Oh, and it's always dark, too. If I'm going to make my own personal Halloween Horror movie marathon worthwhile, I'll to have to do way better than picking stuff like this.
