This show is actually more about the developing relationship between Lois and Clark, rather than the adventures of Superman.

And it handles the development of the relationship between them extremely well. It is very built up and handled correctly. I would say this is a romance and investigation show mainly, and a superhero show second.

And i love it. I really like the characters involved, with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher becoming my favorite Lois and Clark ever. Their friendship is built up so well, as is their romance, and it's even good when they finally get into a relationship. YES! And it's handled in a mature and responsible and well-written way, even through the trials that test them.

As much as i love that, it gets even better. Many of the episodes are well-written, and even though most of the stories are grounded, meaning, Superman isn't facing many aliens or galactic threats, the villains and stories are still really good, along with good investigative work. With what the writers had to work with in having a more grounded atmosphere, they did a great job. It also gives more time in fleshing out all of the characters, and Lois and Clark are very well fleshed out.

I talk about the show's grounded nature, but there's plenty of times where there's more sci-fi/fantasy elements and bigger stories, and there's plenty of scenes with Superman in action and saving the day.

It's a very good show. It falters a little in season 2, but soon picks back up in season 3 and 4.

It's actually quite a wholesome and inspiring show at times, and the romance is so sweet and realistic and loving and genuine, i love it.

The show eventually became like family to me. It is one of the shows i fell in love with. You laugh at the jokes, you smile and go "aww" at the cute moments, and you don't really want the show to finish. When you fall in love with a show, you either watch so many episodes in a row or you start to slow down, savoring each one. The latter is what happened to me. I love this show. I love many shows, and it's hard each and every time after i finish one of those shows. But all good things must come to an end. And, we can always rewatch. We can always imagine in our minds what happens next or what happened differently, or read fanfiction or make our own. We can always follow the actors too, or the characters in alternate universes. And we can always write down our thoughts about the show, hoping to inform people of what it's about, and hope to get them to watch it and fall in love with it as you did.

93-97, honestly, why is it the best Sci-Fi shows are only 4 seasons if you're lucky? And this one didn't even get 4 seasons and a movie. It just... ended. It was a shame.

We need to be honest here, Dean Cain was a great Superman and an even better Clark Kent. He did it well, and was able to be the bumbling Clark, the courageous hero... and the relationship guy, which was sort of the draw to it, and the reason it's title was "Lois & Clark."

At the heart, it was a show about a relationship, and one marred by the pitfalls of.... living with a super hero. That was a good pitch right there, that added something to the genre that you never really saw before, and Clark was excellent for the role.

I loved the take, and (unlike Snyder) it was done right. Superman is a light character. He's not a dark and brooding character, he's light and fun, and this was able to balance adult relationship comedy with kid friendly super hero show.

It walked a fine line, but it did it deftly and with more class and originality than you see in the new comic book fare.
