I mean this show definitely had a lot of good messages and really interesting visuals at times, but didn't really provide a lot in other areas. This show was still good, but I feel like the overall story was not super coherent. I'm sure others will really like the metaphors and very vague ideas in this show, but for me I think I would have liked a little more structure.

I'm not going to pretend I understood the meaning the author wanted to convey with this show. Sonny Boy is the story of a group of students that get lost in an alternate universe, this world doesn't work like our own. The time is messy, the rules not always apply and cats are more like Jeff Bezos.
