10 Dance - Comments & Tips

Peak JBL even though it was too short! Definitely needed a series, not just a movie. I knew Keita Machida would be good (loved him in Cherry Magic) but Ryoma Takeuchi was just as good. Great emotion, tension and action. The opposites attract discourse was a bit simplistic, especially how they depict Latin/Cuban fiery nature's, but for the dance portion I think it worked. It really worked for me!

I was so impressed by how beautiful this film looked and the chemistry between the actors was just great. The dancing felt completely authentic, and I loved the elegant atmosphere and those intense, deep looks they shared. It’s definitely one of the most stylish movies I've seen in a while, and the cinematography really made everything feel more intimate. However, the pacing was a struggle and the story felt quite slow at times. The biggest issue for me was the ending—I honestly did not like it at all. It’s a shame because the visual side of it was so strong, but with the character motivations being a bit underdeveloped and that finish, it didn't quite reach its full potential.

Simply beautiful. The chemistry, the passion, the concept. Everything. Every single thing.
