A California Christmas: City Lights - Comments & Tips
A California Christmas: City Lights is a pleasantly enjoyable, but all too predictable, sequel. When his family’s company is in trouble Joseph has to return to San Francisco to try to save it and takes Callie with him, but their relationship starts to strain and causes them to question if they want the same things. The original cast returns and delivers solid performances. But the script is rather trite, following all the usual rom-com tropes. And the comedy is pretty broad. Still, Lauren and Josh Swickard make for a charming on-screen couple, and there are some touching moments and a positive message. It’s not quite as good as the first film, but A California Christmas: City Lights is a fun holiday romance.
A story about white privilege. How did it make it past all the SJW 'amp; diversity check points in 2021??? Absolutely shocking.
This is a sequal to "A California Christmas" and premieres December 16th on Netflix.
